Morning assembly in Joo Koon Public School in 1960. Joo Koon Public School was set up by Chinese business men in the 1930s. It was later on rebuilt and assumed the name Yuqun Primary School in 1984. In 2002, Yuqun Primary merged with Yuhua Primary to form the new Yuhua Primary School.
